About Elodee
Hello and a warm welcome to In The Details Company!
My name is Elodee, and I am thrilled to introduce myself as the Co-Founder of our company.
Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, I have spent most of my life in the Portland-Metro area, with a brief stint in Seattle. Pursuing my passion for Psychology and Business, I attended PSU with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, alongside a minor in Business Leadership.
My love for event planning blossomed at a young age when I witnessed my mother transform spaces to celebrate and bring people together. From there, I learned the power of personalized details and how they can make any event unforgettable. With experience coordinating events in college, corporate meetings, and milestone celebrations, I have developed my skills to transform spaces, ensuring that everyone feels confident and proud at their events.
Encouraged by my friends and family, I am excited to embark on this journey with my best friend as we make the perfect duo!
As for some fun facts about me, I recently tied the knot with the love of my life, Will, in September 2021. We have an Australian Labradoodle named Yarrow, who we named after the bay we lived near in Seattle. When not planning events, we love to gather with our loved ones to explore new wineries and restaurants. I'm actively involved in my community and enjoy giving back.

About Kristin
Hello everyone! My name is Kristin and I am the Co-Founder of In The Details Company.
I graduated college with my B.S in Psychology from Oregon State University (go beavs!!), with a double-minor in Business and Sociology. I had every intention of going into the Psychiatry field, but quickly discovered that my personality fit best in working with groups of people.
Shortly after graduating, I began my first internship at the American Red Cross with a focus in Human Resources. From there, I have had positions in both Recruiting and Human Resources. Through my career, I gained professional expertise in not only HR, but also organizational skills, interpersonal communication, negotiations, technological skills, and most importantly for our business… event planning! With all my experience in these fields, I gained a lot of confidence in becoming an entrepreneur and starting a business.
Events is something I have been passionate about since high school and beyond! I always loved being the friend that threw all the fun parties, planned group trips (and created the itinerary), and bringing everyone together. I can say that I truly knew that I was meant to be a Wedding & Event Planner when I was in the process of planning my own wedding. I was told by (multiple) vendors that I was one of their favorite brides to work with because I was very organized and on-top of things in a tactful and conscientious way. Throughout the planning process, I realized that if this was a talent that I truly had, and that I wanted to run with it! Elodee and I connected about our dreams and goals, and BOOM… In The Details Company was born!
A little more (non-business related) fun facts about me are… I married the love of my life Mason in August 2023 - and it was truly one of the greatest days of my life! My advice to couples is to really live in the moment… it goes by in a flash. Mason and I loooove traveling! We have been to the Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, Italy, Croatia, Greece, and Ireland. We are (hopefully) going to visit Portugal, more Italian cities, and eastern Europe soon!! We also have a little labradoodle who we love to pieces that we adopted back in 2020 :)
